Saturday, September 19 Heather went to the eye doctor. After three years of contacts (which don't get worn most of the time!), I was so excited to find a cute little pair of glasses to throw on when I run out the door. My prescription really hasn't changed...surprise to me! All went well until it came time for the drops in my eyes. Through the fluid in my eyes I could feel it also in the roof of my mouth. Later that day Kim mixed up some Crystal Light that I thought was really watered down. I made Haystacks for dinner that were really blah! The final clue was when when I was packing kids' lunches, I snitched a Cheeto that had no flavor...then I realized. It wasn't the food. I have lost my taste. Yes, and almost three weeks later it hasn't come back. At first I thought it would be good for me, but food is not good if you can't taste. I WANT MY TASTE BACK!!! I have been to the doctor and am on antibiotics for a sinus infection so time will tell.

That is so weird you lost your taste! Who would ever think that would happen. I hope you get better soon. The glasses better be super cute.

Woah! So is it the sinus infection, or was it the eye drops that did it to you?
