Youth Conference! Aspen Grove! What more can I say? It was incredible. It was beautiful. It was fun!
We spent three days in these beautiful mountains. After Activities, Family Feud, President Olsen's talk, Night games, Workshops, Free time, and Ropes course, we were blessed to have Elder Holland come and speak to our youth. We had all the youth in the middle of the room and the adults on the edges. He spoke right to them. He gave them their own personal time with an apostle of God. Then each ward got their picture taken with him. {When we get the picture, I will post it. I wasn't in it, just the youth.} Then we chatted for a while. Sister Holland grabbed me and said, "I know who you are! You are Robins daughter!" She gave me a big hug. We chatted a little about this and that and our blessing day. Then she motioned for Elder Holland to come over. She said, "Do you know who this is?" He said, "Of course." We had been introduced by Mary at the Seminary graduation. After a little more chatting they had to leave. She gave me one more big hug and whispered in my ear, "you were my first babies."
She was so sweet and it was fun to spend a little personal time with her.

What a fun place for Youth conference. It looks like you had a lot of fun. You will need to tell me the connection you have with The Holland's. I don't think I know the story. Love reading your blog and keeping up with your family.
