Washington DC * Day 6

At 3:30 Monday morning Kim headed to the Dulles airport with Mandy for her flight to Maine. She is continuing her job as camp counselor. Kim came home and finished sleeping. When we woke up we decided to head North to Gettysburg and visited the military park museum.
We saw a movie about Abraham Lincoln and a Circlerama presentation about the civil war. It was a round room with a painting surrounding it. Then there was a naration and spotlights would highlight the point of interest being narated. It was a form of entertainment before moving pictures.Kim with President Lincoln.
We visited the cemetery.
We drove past historic battle fields.
And went through the little town with NARROW streets.
And enjoyed the countryside
