A picture the bishop found when we were newlyweds in the ward

Kim and I just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Well, Kim was in Laramie on business and I was in Orem, but we called each other and texted on our day and celebrated at dinner when he returned. We plan to celebrate BIG...hopefully in August. I am sure I will post when plans are solidified. Where did 25 years go? It has been one crazy roller coaster. I keep waiting for life to settle down. Don't you think it should? Well, it is not so I guess I will just have to face the facts. It is fun to look back on our wedding day. It was such a whirlwind. My mom was amazing since I was in Utah and she took care of EVERYTHING in California. I bought my dress in Utah, but she even made my veil. That day was exhausting since we started very early in Kensington Heights and ended very late in Chico, but I LOVED it. I loved my wedding day! Thanks Kim for hanging in there and taking care of us. You are like the energizer bunny and just keep going and going...Thank you for loving me. I love you.

I remember when Grandma came over to our house to tell us that you had gotten engaged. She was so excited and so were we! I remember being so excited that there would be a wedding in the family... my first cousin wedding! I remember meeting Kim in Mesquite and thinking how cute he was and how lucky you were! I totally can't believe that it has been 25 years! Like you... Jeff and I are trying to think of something big to celebrate our 10 year milestone....just a few years less than you :)
I love that photo of you!
